How is in-house calibration different from on-site?

In-house means you ship (or drop off) instruments at our Rockwood, TN lab. On-site means our technician comes to your facility — usually the better deal at 10+ instruments. See on-site services.

Can I drop off my instruments in person?

What paperwork do I get?

A detailed certificate per instrument: as-found/as-left readings, the NIST-traceable gas used (lot numbers + CoA links), measurement uncertainty, and pass/fail. Emailed as PDFs, kept on file for your audits.

Do you calibrate instruments you didn’t sell?

Absolutely — any supported instrument, no matter where you bought it.

What if my instrument fails calibration?

We figure out why, then call you with repair or replacement options before doing anything. You’ll never pay for work you didn’t approve.

Do you remind me when calibrations are due?

Yes — we track your due dates and email you before your instruments go out of cal. Free, automatic, one less thing on your plate.

How often should gas detectors be calibrated?

Most manufacturers and OSHA say at least every 6 months, with a bump test before each use. Your certificate shows the next due date.
