On-Site Gas Detector Calibration

Your whole fleet calibrated without leaving the building.

Our promise: you’ll never pay for work you didn’t approve. If we find a bad sensor or anything unexpected during your visit — we tell you on the spot, before doing a thing.

Our technician comes to your facility with everything needed to calibrate your gas detectors right there on the spot. Same thorough calibration as our lab, same detailed certificates — with zero downtime, zero packing, and zero shipping.

Why Bring the Lab to You

When you’ve got a fleet to keep compliant, shipping instruments out is the expensive way to do it.

⏱

Zero downtime

Calibrations happen during your workday. Nobody’s waiting on a UPS truck to bring their meter back.

📦

No shipping, no risk

No packing, no freight damage, no instruments sitting in a warehouse for a week. They never leave your site.

👥

Whole fleet, one visit

Everything that’s due gets done in a single day. Your safety manager gets one stack of certificates, all dated the same.

💰

Best at 10+

At around ten instruments, handling everything in one on-site visit is usually the simplest path — no packing, no shipping, no downtime.

How an On-Site Visit Works

You handle about ten minutes of scheduling. We handle the rest.

1

Request a quote

Tell us how many instruments you have, what models, and where you’re located. We’ll send a quote — fast.

2

Pick your day

We schedule around your operations — shutdowns, shift changes, whatever works. You just have the instruments gathered.

3

We calibrate on-site

Our tech sets up at your facility and works through your fleet: every channel calibrated, alarms checked, health checks done.

4

Certificates in hand

Detailed calibration certificates for every instrument — the same full documentation as our lab service. Audit-ready.

Same Calibration, At Your Place

On-site doesn’t mean cut corners. Every instrument gets the full treatment:

  • Instrument inspection
  • Sensor response evaluation
  • Fresh-air / zero adjustment
  • Calibration using traceable gas
  • Alarm / function testing
  • Pump and flow check
  • Filter inspection
  • Calibration adjustment
  • As-found and as-left recorded
  • Calibration certificate
  • Calibration stickerFresh due-date sticker on every unit
  • Calibration reminderWe’ll nudge you before the next due date

Every calibration runs through our own calibration management software — QR-verifiable certificates, full digital history, no clipboards. Our lab quality system is being built around ISO/IEC 17025:2017.

On-Site Pricing

Every facility is different, so on-site work is quoted per visit — one clear price, no surprises.

Your quote is based on:

  • How many instruments — and what types (single-gas, 4-gas, PID/IR)
  • Where you’re located — travel from our Rockwood, TN lab
  • Anything extra — repairs found on the day are quoted before we touch them
Rule of thumb: at around 10 instruments, a single on-site visit is usually the simplest option — no packing, no shipping, and your crew never loses a meter for a week.

Have just a few instruments? See our in-house service — the simpler option for small quantities.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many instruments do you need to come out?

No hard minimum — but around 10 instruments is usually where a single on-site visit becomes the most convenient option: no packing, no shipping, no downtime. For just a few instruments, our in-house service is the simpler choice.

What do you need from us on the day?

Not much: a place to set up (a table near an outlet does it), the instruments gathered in one spot, and someone who can point us to any stragglers. We bring the gas, the gear, and the software.

How long does a visit take?

Depends on your fleet — most visits run from half a day to a full day. When you request a quote, we’ll give you a straight estimate so you can plan the day.

Do you service our area?

We’re based in Rockwood, TN and regularly travel across Tennessee and surrounding states — farther on request. Ask us; distance is rarely a dealbreaker.

What if something needs a repair during the visit?

Same promise as always: we tell you on the spot and quote it before doing anything. You’ll never get a surprise on the invoice.

Do we get certificates?

Yes — detailed calibration certificates for every instrument, generated by our calibration software: as-found/as-left readings, traceable gas lots, CoA links, measurement uncertainty, pass/fail. Audit-ready.
