Description
The FLIR K45 Thermal Imaging Camera is a rugged, high-performance firefighter TIC designed to provide clear thermal visibility in smoke, darkness, and demanding fireground conditions. With enhanced image quality, multiple firefighting modes, and simple glove-friendly controls, the K45 helps firefighters navigate structures, locate hot spots, and make faster tactical decisions when visibility is limited.
The K45 features a 320 × 240 thermal detector with 60 Hz image frequency and FLIR FSX® Flexible Scene Enhancement. FSX® digitally enhances edges and fine details within the thermal image, helping firefighters more easily recognize structural features, objects, and surroundings in low-visibility and low-contrast environments.
A large 4-inch backlit LCD provides a clear thermal image, while multiple selectable imaging modes allow the K45 to adapt to different fireground situations. Available modes include Basic, Black and White, Fire, Search and Rescue, and Heat Detection.
The K45 also includes internal flash memory capable of storing up to 200 images, allowing firefighters to save thermal images for on-scene review or later incident documentation.
Built for severe firefighting environments, the FLIR K45 features an IP67 enclosure, withstands a 6.6 ft (2 m) drop onto concrete, and is designed to remain operational at temperatures up to 500°F (260°C) for up to 5 minutes.
The FLIR K45 includes the thermal imaging camera, two rechargeable batteries, battery charger, carabiner strap, hard transport case, power supply, printed documentation, retractable lanyard, and USB cable.
