Description
The FLIR K65 Thermal Imaging Camera is a rugged, high-performance firefighter TIC designed for demanding structural firefighting and emergency-response applications. As the NFPA-compliant model in the FLIR K-Series lineup, the K65 combines advanced thermal imaging, multiple firefighting modes, onboard image and video recording, and a durable fireground-ready design.
The K65 features a 320 × 240 thermal detector with smooth 60 Hz image frequency and FLIR FSX® Flexible Scene Enhancement. FSX® enhances edges and fine details within the thermal image, helping firefighters better recognize structural features, objects, people, and surroundings in smoke-filled and low-visibility environments.
A large 4-inch backlit LCD provides a clear thermal image, while five selectable imaging modes allow firefighters to optimize the camera for different fireground situations. Available modes include Basic, Black and White, Fire, Search and Rescue, and Heat Detection.
The K65 also features internal flash memory with thermal image and MPEG-4 video recording. The camera can store up to 200 image or video files, with video clips up to five minutes each, providing valuable documentation for incident review, training, and post-fire analysis.
Designed for severe fireground environments, the FLIR K65 features an IP67 enclosure, withstands a 6.6 ft (2 m) drop onto concrete, and is designed to remain operational at temperatures up to 500°F (260°C) for up to 5 minutes. The K65 is also compliant with NFPA 1801:2021 requirements for thermal imagers used by the fire service.
The FLIR K65 includes the thermal imaging camera, two rechargeable batteries, battery charger, carabiner strap, hard transport case, power supply, printed documentation, retractable lanyard, and USB cable.
