Description
The FLIR K2 Thermal Imaging Camera is a compact, rugged thermal imaging camera designed specifically for firefighting, search and rescue, and demanding emergency-response environments. Lightweight enough to carry as a personal TIC, the K2 gives firefighters enhanced situational awareness in smoke, darkness, and other low-visibility conditions.
The K2 features a 160 × 120 thermal detector with FLIR MSX® image enhancement. MSX® adds visible edge detail to thermal images, helping firefighters more easily recognize structures, objects, and surroundings while maintaining the thermal information needed to evaluate a scene.
A bright 3-inch LCD display, simple glove-friendly single-button control, and seven selectable imaging modes make the K2 easy to operate during fast-changing incidents. Available modes include Basic Firefighting, Black-and-White Firefighting, Fire, Search and Rescue, Heat Detection, Cold Detection, and Building Analysis.
Built for severe fireground conditions, the FLIR K2 features an IP67 enclosure, withstands a 6.6 ft (2 m) drop onto concrete, and remains fully operational at temperatures up to 500°F (260°C) for up to 3 minutes.
The FLIR K2 includes two rechargeable batteries, battery charger, lanyard strap, power supply, USB cable, and printed documentation.
