The FLIR Si2a-PD Acoustic Imaging Camera is a fixed-mount acoustic imaging camera for continuous partial discharge monitoring of critical electrical assets — it watches switchgear and substations around the clock and reports developing faults automatically.
With 124 MEMS microphones, automatic AI-based severity assessment, and detection from 1.0 ft to 65 ft (0.3 m to 20 m), the Si2a-PD streams results over the network for integration with FLIR software and asset systems, turning partial discharge from a periodic survey into continuous protection.
