Description

The FLIR Si2x-Pro Acoustic Imaging Camera is a hazardous-location (ATEX-rated) acoustic imaging camera that combines leak detection, partial discharge detection, and mechanical fault detection for classified areas.

Certified for hazardous locations, the Si2x-Pro pairs its 124-microphone array with AI-based partial discharge severity assessment and leak quantification, giving reliability teams one instrument for acoustic surveys across oil, gas, chemical, and process plants.

  • ATEX-certified acoustic camera for hazardous gas and explosive dust environments
  • Combines partial discharge detection, pressurized gas leak detection and mechanical fault detection in one camera
  • 124 low-noise MEMS microphones; detect, locate and measure from 0.3 m up to 200 m (656 ft)
  • Automatic AI-based partial discharge severity assessment with recommended actions on camera
  • Leak rate detection threshold: 0.0032 l/min from 2.5 m, 0.0044 l/min from 6 m
  • Detects compressed air, nitrogen, ammonia, hydrogen, CO2, methane, helium and argon leaks
  • Mechanical analysis (MSI confirmation, SPL, crest factor, kurtosis) finds bearing defects before failure
  • Fleet management, cloud data integration and OTA updates; combine acoustic and thermal imaging in one report

Typical Applications

  • Compressed air and gas leak surveys
  • Partial discharge detection
  • Predictive maintenance
  • Energy loss audits
