Description
The NAGCO N10-100-05 Ammonia (NH3) Detector Tubes provide direct-reading measurement of ammonia in air using a manual gas sampling pump. The standard measurement range is 1–30 ppm using one 100 mL pump stroke with a sample time of approximately 1.5 minutes.
For applications requiring measurements outside the standard range, the N10-100-05 can also be used from 0.5–15 ppm using two pump strokes or from 2–60 ppm using a half pump stroke with the appropriate correction factor.

Cross-Sensitivity & Interferences
The N10-100-05 has documented responses to certain compounds including pyridine, diethylamine, hydrazine and methylhydrazine. Carbon dioxide may also reduce the ammonia response when present in mixtures at certain concentrations. Other possible interferences include amines and other bases. Refer to the NAGCO datasheet for complete cross-sensitivity information and correction requirements.
Pump Information
NAGCO recommends using NAGCO detector tubes with NAGCO sampling pumps. CPS Calibrations can assist customers transitioning from another detector tube system with selecting the appropriate NAGCO tube and sampling equipment for their application.
Important: Detector tube readings may be affected by humidity, temperature and interfering compounds. Always follow the NAGCO datasheet and pump operating instructions for the specific measurement being performed.
