Description
The NAGCO N-10-103-03 Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Detector Tubes provide direct-reading measurement of hydrogen sulfide using a manual gas sampling pump. The measurement range is 0.5–10 ppm H2S using five pump strokes and a total sample volume of 500 mL.
This tube is specifically designed for the 0.5–10 ppm range. NAGCO specifies Do Not Extend beyond the stated measurement range. The tube must also be used at less than 5% relative humidity, as readings drop sharply above 5% RH.

Humidity Requirement
This detector tube must be used at less than 5% relative humidity. NAGCO states that the indicated reading drops sharply above 5% RH. Verify application humidity before using this tube for H2S measurements.
Cross-Sensitivity & Interferences
NAGCO documents cross-sensitivity testing with hydrogen, carbon monoxide, methane, ammonia, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, carbon disulfide, methyl mercaptan, diethyl sulfide, hexane, isobutylene and toluene. Under the specified individual test conditions, these substances produced no apparent H2S reading. However, NAGCO notes that nitrogen dioxide can interfere in mixtures and may produce a transient light-brown H2S response. High sulfur dioxide concentrations can also interfere in mixtures and suppress the H2S response. Refer to the NAGCO datasheet for complete test concentrations and interference information.
Pump Information
NAGCO recommends using NAGCO detector tubes with NAGCO sampling pumps. CPS Calibrations can assist customers transitioning from another detector tube system with selecting the appropriate NAGCO tube and sampling equipment for their application.
Important: Do not extend measurement beyond the specified 0.5–10 ppm range. This tube must be used below 5% RH. Always follow the NAGCO datasheet and pump operating instructions for the measurement being performed.
