Description
The NAGCO N-10-103-13 Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Detector Tubes provide direct-reading measurement of hydrogen sulfide using a manual gas sampling pump. The standard measurement range is 1–30 ppm H2S using two pump strokes and a total sample volume of 200 mL.
For applications requiring measurements outside the standard range, the N-10-103-13 can also measure 0.5–1 ppm using four pump strokes or 2–60 ppm using one pump stroke with the appropriate correction factor.

Cross-Sensitivity & Interferences
NAGCO documents cross-sensitivity testing with hydrogen, carbon monoxide, methane, ammonia, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, carbon disulfide, methyl mercaptan, diethyl sulfide, hexane, isobutylene and toluene. Under the specified individual test conditions, these substances produced no apparent H2S reading. However, NAGCO notes that nitrogen dioxide can interfere in mixtures and may produce a transient light-brown H2S response. High sulfur dioxide concentrations can also interfere in mixtures and suppress the H2S response. Refer to the NAGCO datasheet for complete test concentrations and interference information.
Pump Information
NAGCO recommends using NAGCO detector tubes with NAGCO sampling pumps. CPS Calibrations can assist customers transitioning from another detector tube system with selecting the appropriate NAGCO tube and sampling equipment for their application.
Important: Detector tube readings may be affected by temperature and interfering compounds present in mixtures. Always apply the appropriate correction factors and follow the NAGCO datasheet and pump operating instructions for the measurement being performed.
