NAGCO Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Detector Tubes 10-120 ppm | N10-103-15

The NAGCO N10-103-15 Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Detector Tubes provide direct-reading measurement of hydrogen sulfide using a manual gas sampling pump. The standard measurement range is 10–120 ppm H2S using one 100 mL pump stroke with a sample time of approximately 1.5 minutes.

For applications requiring measurements outside the standard range, the N10-103-15 can also measure 5–60 ppm using two pump strokes or 20–240 ppm using a half pump stroke with the appropriate correction factor.

Cross-Sensitivity & Interferences

NAGCO documents cross-sensitivity testing with carbon monoxide, methane, ammonia, nitrogen dioxide, carbon disulfide, methyl mercaptan, diethyl sulfide, isobutylene and toluene. Nitrogen dioxide may interfere when present in mixtures and may result in a transient light brown H2S response. NAGCO reports no effect in mixtures from methyl mercaptan under the specified test conditions, although concentrations in the high-percent range may leave a yellow color over the entire tube. Pump Information

NAGCO recommends using NAGCO detector tubes with NAGCO sampling pumps. CPS Calibrations can assist customers transitioning from another detector tube system with selecting the appropriate NAGCO tube and sampling equipment for their application.

Important: Detector tube readings may be affected by temperature, interfering compounds and application conditions. Always apply the appropriate correction factors and follow the NAGCO datasheet and pump operating instructions for the specific measurement being performed.
