Description

The NAGCO N10-120-10 Water Vapor (Pipeline) H2O Detector Tubes are designed for direct-reading measurement of water vapor in pipeline and natural gas applications. The standard measurement range is 2–10 lbs/MMCF H2O using two pump strokes and a total sample volume of 200 mL.

For applications requiring measurements outside the standard range, the N10-120-10 can also measure 1–5 lbs/MMCF using four pump strokes or 4–20 lbs/MMCF using one pump stroke with the appropriate correction factor.

Cross-Sensitivity & Interferences

NAGCO documents cross-sensitivity testing with methane, propane, isobutylene, hexanes, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, hydrogen chloride, ethylene glycol, triethylene glycol, methanol and toluene. Under the specified test conditions, certain compounds produced apparent readings or other effects. NAGCO also identifies amines and alcohols as possible interferences. Refer to the NAGCO datasheet for complete concentrations, apparent readings and interference information.

Pump Information

NAGCO recommends using NAGCO detector tubes with NAGCO sampling pumps. CPS Calibrations can assist customers transitioning from another detector tube system with selecting the appropriate NAGCO tube and sampling equipment for their application.

Important: Sampling time differs when measuring in air versus natural gas. Always use the appropriate sampling time and correction factor for the application and follow the NAGCO datasheet and pump operating instructions.
