Description
The RKI DES-3311-2 is a genuine RKI Hydrocarbon (HC) infrared replacement sensor designed for compatible RKI GX-6000 and RKI GX-6100 portable multi-gas monitors.
The DES-3311-2 provides auto-ranging hydrocarbon detection from 0–100% LEL through 0–30% volume using infrared (IR) sensing technology. This allows compatible RKI instruments to monitor combustible hydrocarbons across both LEL and higher-concentration volume ranges.
RKI's current replacement-parts documentation specifically identifies the DES-3311-2 for both the GX-6000 and GX-6100.
Important: The DES-3311-2 is RKI's Hydrocarbon (HC) IR configuration. It should not be confused with the DES-3311-3, which is specifically the Methane (CH4) IR sensor with a 0–100% LEL / 0–100% volume auto range.
