Description
The RKI NC-6205-05 is a genuine RKI Hydrogen (H2)-specific combustible gas sensor designed to measure hydrogen from 0–100% LEL in compatible RKI fixed gas detection systems.
This explosion-proof sensor uses catalytic sensing technology specifically designed for hydrogen detection and incorporates silicone resistance for demanding industrial applications. The sensor includes a molecular sieve that allows hydrogen to diffuse into the detector, providing increased selectivity for H2.
The NC-6205-05 features a 1/2" NPT direct-connect design and can be installed directly into compatible RKI controllers or used as the replacement sensing component of the RKI 61-1001RK-05 Hydrogen Detector. The 61-1001RK-05 assembly consists of the NC-6205-05 sensor and an explosion-proof junction box.
Important: This is the cCSAus/CSA version of RKI's H2-specific LEL sensor. It should not be confused with the NC-6205-01 UL version.

The NC-6205-05 can be mounted directly into a compatible controller conduit hub when a separate junction box is not required. When supplied as the 61-1001RK-05, the NC-6205-05 sensor is combined with an explosion-proof junction box.
Important: Do not confuse the NC-6205-05 with other RKI hydrogen or combustible sensors:
- NC-6205-05 – H2-specific, 0–100% LEL, silicone resistant, cCSAus/CSA version
- NC-6205-01 – H2-specific, 0–100% LEL, silicone resistant, UL version
- 61-0140RK-05 – General combustible gas, 0–100% LEL, catalytic, cCSAus version
- 61-0140RK – General combustible gas, 0–100% LEL, catalytic, UL version
