Description
The RKI NC-6205-01 is a genuine RKI Hydrogen (H2)-specific catalytic sensor designed to measure hydrogen from 0–100% LEL in compatible RKI fixed gas detection systems.
This sensor features a 1/2" NPT connection, protective guard and silicone-resistant construction. It is the UL version of RKI's hydrogen-specific Direct Connect sensor and is supplied as the sensor only, without a transmitter or junction box.
RKI identifies the NC-6205-01 as the sensor used in the 61-1001RK Hydrogen Detector assembly and in the M2A 65-2641RK Hydrogen 0–100% LEL transmitter configuration. It can also be used with compatible RKI Direct Connect controller configurations.
Important: This is the UL version. The NC-6205-05 is the corresponding CSA/cCSAus version. Always verify the complete part number and system certification requirements before ordering.

RKI's 2026 ordering information states that Direct Connect sensors can connect directly to the Beacon 110, Beacon 200 and Beacon 410A, and that LEL versions can also connect to the Pioneer.
Important: Similar RKI hydrogen sensors are not necessarily interchangeable:
- NC-6205-01 – H2-specific, 0–100% LEL, 1/2" NPT, guard, silicone resistant, UL version
- NC-6205-05 – H2-specific, 0–100% LEL, silicone resistant, CSA/cCSAus version
- NC-6205-01-03 – H2-specific version with 3-foot cable
- NC-6205-02 – H2-specific version without guard
