Description
The RKI TE-7561 is a genuine RKI thermal conductivity (TC) replacement sensor used for high-concentration combustible-gas measurement in compatible RKI portable gas detectors.
The TE-7561 provides %Volume combustible-gas detection and is specified by RKI for the GX-2003, GX-2012, Gas Tracer and GX-6100. For methane applications, the sensor provides a measurement range of 0–100% Volume Methane (CH4).
Unlike a catalytic %LEL sensor, the TE-7561 uses a thermal conductivity element. Changes in thermal conductivity caused by the presence of combustible gas alter the sensor element's electrical characteristics, allowing the instrument to calculate and display the gas concentration.
Important: The TE-7561 is the %Volume sensor and should not be confused with the separate catalytic %LEL or ppm combustible-gas sensors used in these instruments.

Important: The TE-7561 is intended for %Volume measurements. It is not the same sensor as the catalytic sensor used for %LEL measurement or the MOS/catalytic sensor used for ppm-level combustible-gas detection.
