The Sidekick Plus is an advanced cable maintenance test set that combines complete metering of voltage, current and resistance on copper cables with a patented stress balance test, measurement of distance to opens, line quality tests for noise, loss and power influence, a multimode wire tracing tone, a resistance fault locator (RFL) with calculator, and a powerful time domain reflectometer (TDR). It offers autotest mode with Pass/Fail results, USB download of test results, a big, easy-to-read backlit display readable in bright sunlight, and field-upgradeable software — advanced cable diagnosis and troubleshooting in a single test set.
