OTIS OI-6900-NXP ‘Cube’ Battery-Powered WireFree Gas Detector Head (Non-XP)

The OTIS OI-6900-NXP “Cube” is the non-explosion-proof version of OTIS’s battery-powered WireFree gas detector head — for general-purpose areas that do not require a classified enclosure. Like its XP sibling, it runs on dual 3.6V lithium-thionyl chloride batteries with no power or signal wiring, reporting over GEN II 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz WireFree radio through an internal wire antenna.

Choose from 23 gas and range combinations: toxic gases, oxygen, hydrogen, ozone, combustible gas, and volatile organic compounds via PID. The clear-window polycarbonate enclosure shows the display and status at a glance, and magnetic non-intrusive switches allow calibration without opening the unit. Where the XP version carries Class I Division 1 certification for hazardous locations, the NXP Cube is the economical choice for warehouses, mechanical rooms, parking structures, and other non-classified spaces that still need wireless gas detection.
