OTIS OI-6900-XP Battery-Powered WireFree Gas Detector Head

The OTIS OI-6900-XP is a battery-powered WireFree gas detector head for Class I Division 1 hazardous locations — true wireless gas detection with no wires at all. Dual 3.6V lithium-thionyl chloride batteries power the unit for up to two years on electrochemical sensors, reporting readings over GEN II 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz WireFree radio to an OTIS controller or gateway.

Choose from 21 gas and range combinations covering toxic gases, oxygen, combustible gas via low-power infrared (Mipex), and volatile organic compounds via PID. The 102x64 sunlight-readable display and magnetic non-intrusive switches allow calibration without opening the enclosure. Where the OI-6000-XP needs wired 12–35 VDC power even with its radio option, the 6900 runs entirely on its batteries — the right choice for remote wellheads, tank batteries, and anywhere pulling wire is impractical or cost-prohibitive.
