Description

The PureAire Universal Acetic Acid (CH3COOH) Gas Detector is a fixed gas monitoring system designed for continuous detection of acetic acid in industrial, laboratory, manufacturing, and process environments.

This configuration monitors acetic acid (CH3COOH) from 0–30 ppm using PureAire's renewable electrochemical sensor technology. The Universal Gas Detector combines a dedicated gas sensor with a smart transmitter/controller for continuous, real-time monitoring.

The monitor features a local digital display, built-in audible alarm, visual alarm indicators, two adjustable alarm relays, and an active 4–20 mA output for integration with PLCs, building automation systems, ventilation systems, remote alarms, and other facility safety equipment.

PureAire's Universal platform is designed for long-term service and uses a renewable electrochemical sensor cell rather than a conventional disposable sensor. The sensor stores its calibration information and can be serviced according to PureAire's recommended maintenance procedures.

Renewable Sensor Technology

PureAire's Universal Gas Detector uses a renewable electrochemical sensor cell designed for long-term operation. The sensor can be maintained and serviced according to PureAire's recommended procedures rather than simply discarded when routine sensor maintenance is required.

System Integration

The active 4–20 mA output and adjustable alarm relays allow the detector to interface with PLCs, building automation systems, external horns and strobes, ventilation equipment, remote displays, and other facility safety systems when properly configured.
