Description
The PureAire Universal Chlorine (Cl2) Gas Detector is a fixed gas monitoring system designed for continuous detection of chlorine in industrial, water treatment, chemical processing, manufacturing, and other applications where chlorine gas may be present.
This chlorine configuration is available in multiple detection ranges from 0–3 ppm through 0–200 ppm. PureAire's Universal Gas Detector combines a dedicated renewable electrochemical sensor with a smart transmitter/controller for continuous, real-time chlorine monitoring.
The monitor features a local digital display, built-in audible alarm, visual alarm indicators, two adjustable alarm relays, and an active 4–20 mA output for integration with PLCs, building automation systems, ventilation systems, remote alarms, and other facility safety equipment.
PureAire's Universal platform uses a renewable electrochemical sensor cell designed for long-term service. Sensor calibration information is stored with the sensor cell, supporting ongoing maintenance and service of the monitoring system.
