OTIS OI-860 UV/IR Flame Detector

The OTIS OI-860 pairs ultraviolet and infrared sensing in one explosion-proof housing, running both signals through a patented Fire Event Analysis algorithm that distinguishes real fire from non-fire events — fast detection with strong false-alarm immunity. It’s the versatile middle ground: UV speed for hydrogen and hydrocarbon flames plus IR confirmation, in aircraft hangars, fuel-transfer stations, compressor stations, silane storage, paint spray booths, and gas cabinets.

Outputs cover every panel: two hermetically sealed relays (fire/trouble, latching or non-latching), a 0–20 mA loop with a dedicated “UV or IR presence” level, and programmable RS-485 Modbus. Class I Division 1 and Class II Division 1 ratings, NEMA 4X, and ATEX/IECEx come standard in the white copper-free aluminum housing (stainless optional). Aim it with the OI-208 swivel bracket in aluminum or stainless.
